COTOTF is for everyone who likes the show. These rules keep it fun. The automod catches some things on its own, and the mods handle the rest.
1. Be kind
Treat everyone with respect. Disagreeing is fine, attacking people is not. No harassment, bullying, threats or going after someone across threads.
2. No hate
No slurs, hate speech or jokes that target someone for their race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or anything like that. This one gets you suspended right away.
3. Keep it clean
Keep things PG-13. No sexual content, gore or anything NSFW, in posts, links, profile pictures or bios.
4. No spam
No posting the same thing over and over, walls of emojis or capital letters, chain messages, or advertising your own stuff where it doesn't belong. Fan stuff goes in Fan stuff.
5. Spoilers
Episode spoilers are fine in the Episodes and Theories categories. Anywhere else, give people a warning first.
6. Respect the show
Don't reupload full episodes or leak unreleased stuff. Fan art and edits are welcome, just credit people and don't pass someone else's work off as yours.
7. Be yourself
One account per person. Don't pretend to be someone else, including toadguy345 or the mods. Using extra accounts to vote or farm points gets all of them suspended.
8. Stay safe
Don't share personal info, yours or anyone else's: real names, addresses, phone numbers, schools, passwords.
9. Listen to the mods
Mods and admins keep the forums running. If they ask you to stop or move something, do it. If you think they got it wrong, bring it up calmly in the Discord instead of arguing in a thread.
What happens if you break them
Depending on how bad it is: your post gets removed, you lose points, you get a warning, or your account gets suspended. Hate speech, NSFW content and threats can skip straight to a suspension.
